This Dog Has A Very Unique Way Of Waiting For His Owner To Come Home And We Are Simply Loving It
Some dogs wait by the door, and then there is Murray, a 6-year-old Vizsla with a much more dramatic routine. Instead of greeting his owner from the hallway, he heads for the highest point on the house and keeps watch from there.
His owner, AJ Allee, says the rooftop habit started as a surprise and quickly turned into a neighborhood talking point. Once the family realized how Murray was getting up there, they blocked one entrance, only for the clever dog to find another way and make the whole thing part of his daily routine.
Now Murray is known for greeting people from above, and the reactions are almost as entertaining as the stunt itself. Read on.
Everyone meet Murray!
Everyone on the internet fell in love with him when they saw how he greets his owner when he comes home.
Instead of wagging his tail and giving wet kisses to his owner, he decided to climb to the highest point on their house.
AJ was obviously terrified and amazed by Murray the first time he saw him do it.
"We didn’t realize it until neighbors came and rang our doorbell."
"It was terrifying because we were afraid he would jump or fall."
That first rooftop surprise definitely got their attention.
Murray’s “waiting on the roof” moment hits close to the dog that sat in the rain until its owner returned.
AJ luckily found the place he got out and blocked the entrance.
"That lasted 3 days."
"He found another place, so we accepted it. Then it became funny."
Of course, Murray was not done causing a scene.
AJ is a pilot and sometimes takes Murray with him to soar in the sky.
Murray is not such a good co-pilot, as he always falls asleep.
AJ Allee is still very much shocked and impressed with Murray and says he has never seen any other dog do such a thing.
Murray has officially made rooftop greetings his signature move.
