Doggo Can't Eat Normally, So Her Family Built Her A Special Chair
Some dogs need a little extra help to get through mealtime, and Daisy’s family did not hesitate when her diagnosis changed everything.
After Daisy was diagnosed with megaesophagus, a condition that makes it hard for food to stay down, her owners built a special chair so she could eat upright and stay comfortable. The setup gave her a better routine, and Daisy quickly made it her own.
Then came the heartbreaking update that made the whole story hit even harder.
The family responded perfectly by building what is known as a 'Bailey Chair,' a device that allows the doggo to sit upright while eating dinner.

That chair made mealtime a lot easier for Daisy.
Daisy took to it immediately, even learning how to put the table down with her little paws on her own.

My heart is in a thousand pieces.

Afterward, the dog has to sit upright for a time to keep the food down, which Daisy's owners made as comfortable as possible.

Things took a sad turn after that.
It also reminds me of pet owners who said their dogs sensed their Rainbow Bridge journey.
Very sadly, Daisy's owners released some sad news recently, informing the world that she had passed away. This was 16 months after being diagnosed with the disease, which usually has a very short life expectancy.

People online felt the loss right away.
The internet responded by posting some pictures of their own doggos suffering from the disease.

Inspiring others to do the same for the dogs they know.

Respect for the owners of this dog flooded in.

A lot of people were moved by the family’s care.
