These 22 before and after photos show what can happen when a rescue dog finally gets the love, safety, and patience they were missing. From scared shelter arrivals to confident family pets, each transformation tells a small story with a very happy ending.
The dogs in this roundup were abandoned, surrendered, or overlooked, then given a second chance by people who were willing to take them in. Some needed medical care, some needed time, and some just needed a home that would not give up on them.
