We all have that moment where we are alone and just want to be ourselves without judgment—no one to answer to and no one who can see us. We let out a little fart, and it's almost like a badge of honor, you did something that you shouldn't have, but in the privacy of your own home, so you just don't care!

Farts are funny and can be absolutely hilarious, especially when it comes out of nowhere! Sometimes you do it intentionally, just maybe to see how loud it will be or because you had too much beans earlier in the day.

No shame in admitting that once in a while, you just let er rip! But there is a lot of shame in admitting that you farted and killed your cat.

This hilarious piece brings you one such story where a Redditor, u/ampersants, tells his tale of how he farted in bed, not realizing that his cat was trapped under the blanket. According to him, the blanket was tucked on the side the cat was lying on, so the cat had no way to escape the "gas chamber" that was created when the Redditor let out a deadly fart.

Well, the cat wasn't the only one who got to feel the wrath of the deadly fart. The Redditor also suffered some pretty harsh blows to his back from the cat's claws and teeth.

My cat, probably choking to death, thus began to try and dig his way out. Not through the blanket, oh no. He tried to multitask and punish me for my sins by trying to dig right through my back. The Redditor said.

He clawed and bit so hard he started drawing blood. Now we are both panicking, and I ripped the blanket off as fast as I possibly could; too little too late for him, as he now has Post Traumatic Stank Disorder, and too late for me as I now look like I fought a very disgruntled family of raccoons.
