How These Famous Malamutes Made This Couple's Wedding So Much Better
Some dogs just have a way of stealing the spotlight, and Phil and Niko, two famous Alaskan Malamutes with a huge Instagram following, are perfect proof. With their fluffy coats, expressive faces, and their cat companion Milo, they have won over hundreds of thousands of fans online.
For Shane and Emma-Leigh, that popularity made one thing obvious, the dogs had to be part of the wedding. The only problem was finding a venue that would actually welcome them, and what happened next made the celebration even more memorable.
Here’s how these beloved pups ended up turning a wedding into an even sweeter story.

They are so SERIOUSLY fluffy.
Anyway, that's not all we're diving into today because, as the title suggests, these very famous dogs got to participate in their owners' wedding recently, and it's the sweetest thing we've EVER seen.
Shane and Emma-Leigh knew they wanted Phil and Niko to be a part of their special day as soon as they decided to get married and spend the rest of their lives together.
And it sure looks like these big, floofy dogs were just as excited about the idea.
However, the couple says it wasn't as easy as they made it look...
It turns out there aren't many wedding venues that allow dogs anywhere near their property, not even for photographs, and certainly not when they're two of the cutest and sweetest dogs on the entire Internet.
Can you believe anyone could turn these faces away?!
But as all happy stories have happy parts, the couple eventually found The Abbey House Hotel, and its staff were more than happy and enthusiastic to invite Phil and Niko along for their family's special day!
The fluffy dogs were very well-behaved and seemed to fit in perfectly on such a special day.

Sadly, the venue did not allow Milo to come along, but he still looked dapper on the special day.
The dogs didn't just show up to the ceremony; they were a part of it!
Niko wore a GoPro the entire time and was able to film the entire ceremony for Milo at home and for everyone else who wanted to peek in on the big day.
So, Niko was the camera guy, but what about Phil?
Phil was definitely not forgotten, nor was he useless. He was on the prestigious flower duty.
The adorable dogs even got to attend the celebration afterward, where they may have rivaled the bride herself in popularity. It's not hard to see why, though!
