Baby Foxes Have A Great Time Playing With A GoPro Camera And End Up Taking Adorable Pictures Of Themselves
Victor Cech went into the woods near Turiec, Slovakia, expecting a quiet wildlife shoot, and instead got a surprise from the local foxes. He had set up a GoPro to capture the area, then came back to find the camera had been nudged, moved, and thoroughly investigated by curious cubs.
The footage shows one baby fox approaching at dusk, jumping back, then getting bolder as the others join in. What starts as a cautious check quickly turns into a playful session that leaves the camera tilted, bumped, and full of adorable self-portraits.
By the time Cech reviewed the clip, the tiny troublemakers had already turned his setup into their own toy. Read on.
Cech has been taking photos of wild creatures for more than a decade, and in the last year, he has started experimenting with video. He was photographing for the Turiecfoto website on this specific trip.
The goal was “to bring you closer to the mysterious life of these inhabitants, the mountains of Malá and Velká Fatra, meadows, and waters.”
A curious baby fox comes to check out this strange new thing in the hood. And it was a GoPro cam.

Cech's main goals in documenting the region's animal species are to encourage environmental education and responsibility. He continues, "It's wild, it's evolving, it's not steady; it's continuously changing."
It is for this reason that he is passionate about nature and continues to document Slovakia's biodiversity. Visit Turiecfoto and follow him on Instagram to see more of his work.
Victor Cech, a wildlife photographer, left his GoPro in the wild. He was surprised to see cute fox puppies playing with the camera when he reviewed the film. Check out the adorable video:
Foxes are small, omnivorous creatures who think fast and run even faster. They are frequently confused with other members of the Canidae family, which includes wolves, dogs, and jackals.
Their long, narrow legs, lithe physique, sharp noses, and bushy tails set them apart from their kin. These creatures are incredibly friendly and have a lot of freedom in their lives.
They can be found all over the world, including North America, Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and they live in a variety of habitats. Their preferred habitats are mixed landscapes; however, they can also be found in arid deserts and Arctic tundra.
We've always thought these creatures are absolutely charming. And now that we've seen them play, we are convinced of it.
