30 Times This Vet Clinic Turned Heads and Made People Smile With Their Witty Outdoor Signs
No one likes going to the hospital, even if it's for a regular 'prickless' checkup. Our dogs also don't enjoy visiting vet clinics.
Maybe it's the fear of the unknown or just the strange smells in vet clinics that churn the stomachs of most pets and their parents. Pet parents know how important vet visits are, but you can't blame them for not wanting to go.
Vet clinics and hospitals go hand in hand with injections, blood tests, and intimidating-looking nurses and doctors. Even if you're fine, the doom-and-gloom atmosphere of the hospital makes it feel like it's the last day on earth for you.
I'm sure our pets feel the same way. I've seen and heard about so many pets that have run away from vet clinics!
But what if vet clinics worldwide changed something about their approach that made you look forward to visiting them with your pets? That's exactly what Carroll County Veterinary Clinic has done.
The aim of this vet clinic is to ensure that every visitor enters with a smile and leaves with a selfie! All they did was put up an outdoor sign with funny pet jokes that turned heads!
From vet jokes to one-liners and puns, this vet clinic has set an example for others to follow.
1. LOL.

2. It sure will.

3. Aww, absolutely!

4. That's a good one!

5. You should never disturb a sleeping cat.

6. ROFL.

7. Shudders.

8. And cats.

9. That would be so cool.

10. ROFL.

11. And babies.

12. So true.

13. Exactly.

14. Woof to that.

15. Totally relatable.

16. Cats will take over the world; they don't need commands.

17. Best to throw out the carpet and invest in wooden flooring.

18. So true.

19. True!

20. ROFL.

21. Epic choice of words!

22. Me too. I'm not adding three years to my age.

23. Yep.

24. Shudders.

25. Or chirps, neighs, moos, squeaks... you get the point.

26. LOL.

27. Wow, I didn't know that before!

28. Good for the kitty.

29. Technically, yes, but it also means you don't have a dog.

30. Yep, 100%.

In Summary...
Weren't these jokes and puns just pawsome? Sometimes all you need is a joke to lighten the mood a little, right?
I wish more vet clinics and even hospitals would follow what Carroll County Veterinary Clinic has done to make every visitor feel comfortable.
Imagine seeing and reading a joke while you're on your way inside a vet clinic. The thought itself makes the experience less stressful.
I think we all agree that Carroll County Veterinary Clinic is doing something right here!
Lynn Wimmer, owner and lead vet at Carroll County Veterinary Clinic, said, "I just figured in today’s day and age, you know, it’s better to laugh about things. So now we just kind of look for the fun."
She added, "We want to give something that cheers people up..."
Vet technician Beki Carlyle updates the signs every Sunday with the help of her daughter, Reilley.
Carlyle said, "It shows that we have a personality, and it shows that we’re not wrapped real tight. We try not to offend anybody... we try to take everybody’s feelings into consideration."
I say they're doing a pawsome job making people smile! What do you think?
