Shop Cats Stare At Their Owner Through A Fitted Glass Ceiling All Day Long
Some shop cats do more than lounge around, they turn the ceiling into their own private lookout post. In one Taiwan store, a simple glass ceiling upgrade gave three feline regulars a perfect view of everything happening below, and the photos quickly caught attention online.
The owner’s friend installed the glass panels so the cats could stay comfortable while keeping watch over the shop and its shoppers. The result is part security system, part cat perch, and entirely the kind of setup that makes people stop and smile.
Now the internet cannot get enough of these ceiling cats, and their tiny reign over the store is only getting bigger. Read on.
These ceiling cats have recently gone viral.
A friend of mine converted his shop's ceiling to accommodate his cats. Now he's under constant observation.

A Twitter user recently posted photos of his friend’s shop after he installed some glass ceiling tiles.

A Twitter user, @SCMcrocodile from Taiwan, recently shared some photos of his friend’s store after some ceiling modifications. Glass tiles were installed to provide extra comfort and a line of sight for a casual cat audience.
His friend runs a small shop with an attic area. Calling it an attic is a bit of a stretch, but for his cat buddies, it’s the best and largest attic in the world.
The modified ceiling now features a few glass panels instead of conventional ceiling tiles. His three feline friends are often seen lying on the glass or actively observing and meowing.
The cats are seen calmly chilling there, meowing at humans below them and inspecting everything they do inside the shop.

It’s hard to take these security guards seriously when they look so adorable. However, they mean business, and the next photo is the best proof. It shows what happens when they don’t get their food on time. They should not be taken lightly.
That’s when the mood shifts from cute to very serious.

People are joking that these are ceiling cats 2.0/3.0—the latest purrveillance system.

The internet has been going crazy about these cats. Some people say that this is true CCTV, cat ceiling top view. Others call it purrveillance.
But most people pointed out that this is where felines actually belong, looking down upon humans like the masters they truly are.
People online were quick to claim the cats had the best seat in the house.
It’s also like the man who attached a camera to his cat to capture its playtime.
