Great Dane Steps Up To Be A Foster Parent To Kittens, Proving That Big Dogs Have Big Hearts
Corbin is the kind of Great Dane that turns heads everywhere he goes, mostly because he is huge, black, and surprisingly gentle. At 150 pounds, he looks intimidating at first glance, but his real job is a lot softer than people expect.
He helps his mom, Karen, care for foster kittens, and the contrast between his size and their tiny frames makes the whole setup even sweeter. What started as cautious supervision slowly turned into a full-on furry family routine.
And once Corbin decides a kitten is his baby, he takes that role seriously.

Corbin helps his mother, Karen, care for kittens she has been fostering for some years now. Despite his intimidating stature, Karen assures that this dog would never harm a fly, even if given the chance.
Most of the kittens Corbin helps care for weigh less than half a pound. This wonderful, enormous doggo is 300 times larger than the kittens, making it even more adorable.

Corbin was adopted by Karen's family a little over five years ago. At 8 months old and weighing 110 pounds at that time, he was already a big pup.

Karen admits that Corbin's huge size makes him clumsy sometimes. In an effort to prevent him from tripping over a kitten, the family originally restricted his access to the furry critters.
They were confident that he would not intentionally hurt them. However, the family had to take his size into account while deciding whether or not to allow him to be near the kittens.
Karen then revealed that on a certain day, Corbin sat down next to her as if he were eager to meet the kittens. This prompted her to put down one of the kittens close to Corbin.
To her surprise, the dog gently nudged the kitten, expressing a certain kindness toward the cat. With time, the family gradually allowed him to spend more time with the kittens.
Even with his large size, Corbin is still a little shy around strangers

He was very shy, nervous, and scared of many people. But he always loved other dogs and cats
