This Cat Proudly Brought Home A Bag Full Of Illicit Drugs
Most cat owners expect the usual surprises, like a dead mouse, a leaf, or some random object dragged in from the garden. One couple in St. Pauls, Bristol, England, got something far more alarming when their cat curled up beside a bag that was later believed to contain crack cocaine and heroin.
The owners found the bag in the morning and quickly realized this was not an ordinary pet gift. They contacted local authorities right away, and the strange discovery turned into a police matter almost immediately.
Now the story of the cat with the very worst kind of prize has people doing a double take.
A spokesperson provided a statement to The Independent, stating that they were investigating the situation, but one of their top priorities "remained the safety of the owner and the pet."

The story went viral immediately when local police departments tweeted about the incident, leaving the family involved anonymous.

This is similar to the weed dealer who threatened teens after they rescued his neglected, skeletal cat.
The Avon and Somerset Police Department also tweeted an image of the cat's found treasure.

And if there was ever a time to make a good joke about drug busts, it's now. Who needs police dogs when cats will just bring the drugs to you?

One has to wonder how well the cat slept with its prize!

But if you think this is a fluke, you'd be surprised. A couple of years ago, a police officer in Oregon let everyone know that his "kleptokitty" once brought him a stolen bag of marijuana!

Maybe cat cops aren't such a bad idea after all!
