Cattos and Doggos Not Living In Harmony When Their Owners Thought They Would
Some pet owners learn the hard way that bringing a cat and a dog into the same home does not guarantee instant harmony. Even when the dream is a cozy blended family, personalities can clash fast, and the results are usually hilarious for everyone except the animals involved.
That is exactly the vibe here, with cats and dogs refusing to play nice in all the ways their owners probably did not expect.
Here come the moments that prove furry family drama is very real.
Well that's poopy.
Apparently, the cat was just a little mad at the dog today.

Halt, who goes there?

That tension shows up fast in these homes.
"Hooman, I am disappoint."
I think it's safe to say that this cat is extremely disappointed in her human's affection for the dog.

And the attitude only gets more obvious from here.

Well, that escalated quickly.
It started out so sweet...

Some of these pets are not even pretending to be polite.

They don't play nicely...
That dog showed the cat who is boss, and we can't stop laughing.

The rivalry keeps finding new ways to be dramatic.

No time like the first time.
This owner said her dog just met a cat for the first time, and they stared each other down for a solid ten minutes. Impressive!

This is where the chaos starts feeling personal.

Even the tiny moments turn into a showdown.
Not a boop!
"This is my bed, cat."

At this point, nobody is backing down.

And the lightweight boxing champion remains...
Now that paw is one mean left hook!

Some pets just commit to the bit.

Passive, much?
That 56-pound dog is not willing to take on the 6-pound cat. Cats are impressive that way.

The silent treatment is doing a lot of work here.

Peek-a-Boo!
Children are afraid of boogeymen; puppers are afraid of kitties.

That did not go the way anyone hoped.

One pet's fun is another pet's nightmare.
Toying with the dog's emotions.
She purposefully stands in the dog's water just to mess with him. What a sassy feline!

That look says the trust is gone.
This is the same vibe as the cats and dogs imagining what they felt during their first ride home.

"I'm a dentist, I swear."
Playing make-believe the pet way!

Things are getting a little too real now.

Who wins here?
Cats usually look out for each other, but this situation was pretty unique. I certainly didn't see that ending coming!

Everybody was kung-fu fighting!
Ka-pow!

That is one way to settle a household dispute.

Not every pet is built for close quarters.
Did not expect!
Everything started out so simple and sweet... then it all went crazy.

That reaction says everything.

Whoops
Look at these doofus pets going at it!

One bad moment can change the whole mood.

"I am not amused."
What priceless facial expressions these pets have!

That face is doing all the talking.

"Protect me, hooman!"
That 80-pound dog is terrified of the little fluffy kitty smacking his snout.

Now the humans are part of the drama too.

That is a very committed grudge.
His face says it all
He's given up on trying to stop this.

Some pets never recover from the insult.

Traumatized!
We wonder what the cat does when no one is looking to get that facial expression on the pupper.

That is a lot of emotion for one room.

"I'll get you some day."
That is a look of pure determination.

And the feud is clearly not over.

When you get a new dog...
The cats seem less than pleased about the new family member.

New pets do not always mean instant friendship.

That bed is officially contested territory.
Whose bed is it anyway?
Everything belongs to the cat.

Even the fluffiest ones can be intimidating.

Those fluffy jellybeans are scaring that doggo!
This is reminiscent of me around spiders.

That is pure pet-level intimidation.

What a bully!
That kitten sure was cute. What a rude dog!

Somebody is definitely not sharing nicely.

No one wins here
Even though the dog is sitting on the cat, he doesn't look happy about it.
