Husky Has An Obsession With Chewing The Tails Off His Toy Pigs
Diesel the husky has a very specific toy habit, and it started with a pig. When his parents first gave him the plush toy, they expected the usual cycle of chewing, shredding, and moving on. Instead, Diesel kept returning to the same target, and after two days, the pig was found with its tail gone and the rest of the toy still intact.
That odd pattern turned into a long-running routine. Every new pig seemed to meet the same fate, while the squeaker stayed untouched and the tail disappeared. Diesel's parents kept replacing the toys, and two years later, he was still at it.
Now the family has a whole collection of tailless pigs, and Diesel still looks proud every time he makes another one.
“I thought at first it was for the squeaker, but we found the squeakers were still intact,” Tim Eberts, Diesel’s dad, said.

“Since then, we have kept buying more pigs for him because he seems to love them. He would play with them for about two days, focusing on the backside, until one day he just decided to rip the tail off and get all of the stuffing out of it.”

Diesel's pig obsession is oddly specific.
Diesel’s pig obsession feels a lot like Chowder the pig who was raised with five dogs and acts like one of them.
Diesel always seems so proud after he has ripped another tail off, so Tim started taking photos of him with all his pigs. Sometimes he even photoshops a cheeky smile on his face! “He never acts guilty,” Eberts said.

While Diesel will happily pose with his tailless pigs, he won't actually play with them anymore once their tails are gone. “Once the booty-eating deed is done and the stuffing is ripped out, he is no longer interested in the pigs,” Eberts said.

At this point, his parents know exactly what to expect.
Instead, his parents continue to buy him new pigs to play with (and de-tail)... Enjoy, Diesel!
