This baby bear wandered into a village looking very sick and malnourished. Nikolay, a farmer in the village, came to the rescue and took the bear cub in.
He wanted to look after it and nurse it back to health after seeing the state of the baby bear cub.
I don't think I could pass up the opportunity to take this little bear home either.
When it came to figuring out what to do with this little bear cub, he considered every option he had that wouldn't endanger the animal. However, the problem was that the bear cub was very young, so it wouldn't be able to survive alone in the wild or be accepted into a zoo.

Eventually, the village issued a passport that allowed the bear to live there, and they also named it Vasilisa.

Nikolay plans to build a huge enclosure for Vasilisa to grow up in so he can check on the cub regularly.
