Man Uses His Time In Quarantine To Build A Miniature Restaurant For Wild Animals In His Front Yard
Most of us like animals, but not many of us would put in an effort that James Vreeland has. This man from Detroit went above and beyond to prove his love for animals.

Because the self-isolation left him with a lot of spare time on his hands, he decided to use it creatively. He has built a perfect miniature restaurant for squirrels and birds that are living close to his house.
He didn’t stop there. Like any real restaurant, this one has a mini-menu, where they can check out the meals he has prepared for them.
It is hard not to envy them – they can go to restaurants, but we can’t.

This new and popular restaurant has a fancy French name, “Maison du Noix,” which means “The Nut House.”
“We’ve been offering an opening course of a seed medley, followed by peanuts on the full shell, house-cut breadsticks, and a dessert of counter-softened apples,” the restaurant owner and manager James Vreeland told the reporters.
In the picture below you can see the comfy entry to the Maison de Noix that has a miniature stall and a menu. James says that the local wildlife likes the options included on the menu. “The squirrels and blue jays have been loving it,” he added.
The tiny lunch counter was constructed by James Vreeland, an animal lover from Detroit.
He crafted little seats and tables, a bordering fence, and a welcoming entrance.

This miniature restaurant offers several meal options: mixed seed trio, stale bread/pizza crust, raw peanuts, and even counter softened apples. The restaurant owner reveals that business is booming, but it isn’t exactly bringing any profit.
“The response from humans has been pretty great with people stopping all the time to take a photo or watch the frenzy,” James Vreeland told the reporters.
