Missing Cat Found After 14 Months Living His Best Life In Pet Food Factory
Clive the Norwegian Forest cat disappeared when he was still young, and for 14 months his family had no idea where he had gone. Then came the surprise no one expected, he turned up alive, healthy, and apparently thriving inside a nearby pet food factory.
Tanya and Jonathan Irons searched everywhere for their missing pet, putting up posters, sharing appeals online, and hoping someone would spot him. Instead, staff at the factory began noticing missing treats and strange droppings, which led them to set a trap for the sneaky visitor.
When Clive was finally found, the reunion came with one very unexpected twist.
"Clive was nine months old when we lost him, and he was a lot smaller then," Tanya said.

"When we got him back, we were shocked to see how big and fluffy he was. He's obviously been living the life of Riley in that pet food factory."

Roddy’s disappearance with Amanda and her family feels painfully close to Clive’s story, just like Amanda’s emotional Roddy reunion.
"He used to be very naughty and liked to go outside a lot. We thought someone must have taken him in, as he's such a lovely cat. We started a Facebook appeal and put up signs."

"We lost hope of ever seeing him again, but on Wednesday, we got a call out of the blue from the vets saying he'd been found."

"I asked what he looked like and whether he was okay, and I was told he looked very well taken care of. I thought he must have been fed, but it seems like he's been feeding himself quite happily."

"We've had to tell our daughter, Elizabeth, that he's just a new cat; it's too confusing for her to think he was lost. She's very excited, though."

Wait until you see how the homeowner heard meows behind sealed tiles, in this lost-cat tile blunder.
