Adventurous Cat Returns Home With A Surprising Note Tied To Her
Cole Clark thought her long-haired Siberian cat was just enjoying the neighborhood, but Tula had apparently been living a much busier life than anyone expected. One day, she came home with a paper collar that asked a very direct question about whether she had a home.
The 11-year-old cat had been making regular visits to a Toby Carvery in Abbey Meads, Swindon, where she seemed to have built up a second routine around food and attention. Clark was surprised, amused, and quickly pulled into the mystery of how her cat had become such a familiar face at the restaurant.
Then the note made everything click, and Tula's double life came into focus.
Tula is a beautiful cat.

But someone wanted to know if this cat has a home!

Tula's secret life was revealed thanks to this note, and it simultaneously changed everything. Her second life consisted of begging for food in Abbey Meads, Swindon, at the local Toby Carvery restaurant.
She clearly had a favorite lunch spot.
Cats DO love meat.

Clark went down to the restaurant when she discovered that Tula was a regular there to explain that she was, in fact, not a stray cat. She shared with us the staff's reaction to her little visit:
The staff were thrilled that she wasn’t a stray and told me that they had tried to pick her up by bribing her with prawns, but she ate the prawns and then ran off! Tula is normally at the carvery for lunchtime and often for dinner. She even pops back for supper sometimes.
It also echoes the rescuer who took in a stray tuxedo cat, then stayed silent after learning the owner searched for it, refusing to hand it back.
This cat loves prawns.

A queen.

This wasn't the first time Tula had asked strangers to feed her, explained the 41-year-old. Despite having a shelf under her head with everything she ever desires, she still kept seeking extra snacks from kind strangers.
She had been pulling this trick for a while.

Tula has a history of following her nose and used to frequent an old people’s home where the residents would feed her meat paste sandwiches!
She is ultimately a total queen of a cat. She has a definite sense of cat entitlement and turns her nose up at anything less than meat! She is beautiful but aloof… unless you have food! Her cat brothers haven’t yet spotted her scam and haven’t followed her to Toby yet, but she did bring them home a sausage the other evening.
This beautiful feline's exceptional character helped her secure as many extra snacks as possible.
She knew exactly how to work a room.
Before you judge, see how an abusive ex tried to hold a cat hostage, and failed.
