These Oversized Cardboard “Milk Cartons” Are Wonderful Place For Cats To Sleep And Hang Out
Cats are inquisitive creatures, and it's sometimes hard to keep them occupied. They get bored quickly and go off searching for another adventure and yet at the same time, they like confined spaces where they would feel secure.
We've all seen pics of cats resting in the smallest boxes or places between furniture. That's because cats are both predators and prey.
Their predatory nature needs to be stimulated both mentally and physically, but their gentle side just needs a safe place to rest. A Swedish startup Petbo just released a giant cardboard milk carton with a hole in the center, and it's an excellent place for your cat to play and relax.
Petbo founders were inspired by their own cats to create this colorful sanctuary. They couldn’t find a suitable home for their newly adopted cats and decided to make one.
“Cats, being predators by nature,” they explain, “need a place to hide and be able to observe their surroundings without being disturbed or noticed.” After some development and testing, they’ve perfected their product, and cats simply love it.
Customers can choose between two versions: a triangular design called “Pride,” and a minimalist “Flower.” They are both foldable and come complete with a scratch pad.
