Renowned Russian Wedding Photographer Quits Job to Care for 200 Rescued Animals
Daria Pushkareva built a name for herself as a wedding photographer in Russia, but the job that once felt creative started to feel overwhelming. Client demands piled up, and the pressure pushed her to rethink what she wanted from life.
What began as a way to escape stress eventually led her somewhere very different. Daria and her husband left the city for the countryside, where they now care for about 200 rescued animals, including dogs, foxes, and raccoons.
It is a big change, and the animal-filled new life is hard to ignore.
I can't even imagine the amount of food they need.

The foxes are an adorable addition to her family.

This feels like Jack’s moment when a disabled stray dog finally experienced love, tears and all.
I'm glad she's rescued them and given them a wonderful new home!

Here are the raccoons <3

They look so happy I might cry.

Thank you to Daria and her husband for providing the animals with a loving home.
