That's precisely what's happening in the PlayStation universe: cats. Cat-crazed gamers are delighted to learn about this new game.
A trailer for a new PlayStation 5 game has been released, and it's safe to say people are pretty excited about it. The game features a mystery-solving cat who wears a mini backpack. So, who wouldn't be thrilled?
During Sony's unveiling of the fifth major console from the gaming franchise, the company also gave us a glimpse of some of the new games that are set to be released in the coming months.
The trailer for the new game called Stray, developed by BlueTwelve and published by Annapurna Interactive, sadly didn't feature any gameplay footage. However, it definitely provided enough information to pique our interest.
Annapurna Interactive released a statement describing what we can expect from the game.
"Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly."
"Players will take on the role of a stray cat, exploring the surroundings high and low, defending against unforeseen threats, and solving the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by nothing but unassuming droids and dangerous creatures."
"Lost, alone, and separated from family, players must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find their way home."
The trailer shows a cat strolling through a futuristic world filled with robots.
But the part that got fans the most excited? The fact that the cat gets to wear a mini backpack, of course!
Stray is set to be released in 2021; however, a specific release date has yet to be announced.
