The World's Prettiest Dog's Owner Spends Thousands of Dollars Just for Grooming Purposes
Some pet owners buy toys, treats, and the occasional fancy collar, but Kevin Chan went far beyond that for his Afghan Hound, AJ Nirvana Battle. The Beijing marketing director spends more than fifteen thousand dollars on grooming alone, and that does not include the bath products AJ uses for weekly wash days.
Chan also puts in serious time behind the camera, taking photography courses so he can capture his dog looking as polished as possible. With that much effort poured into one pup, it is no surprise AJ has earned a reputation for looking like a true showstopper.
And once you see the photos, it is easy to understand why Chan keeps going all in.
We're starting off strong with this photoshoot-esque photo.

Elegant choice of headdress!

AJ really does look ready for a magazine cover.
AJ looks... so soft.

I don't know how Mr. Chan does it, but this pupper is too gorgeous for me to handle.

The styling only makes the whole thing feel even more over the top.
Heartbroken over “ugly” labels? Meet Beaux Tox, the abandoned dog who found his angel anyway.
Easy, breezy, CoverGirl.

Prettiest eyes I've ever seen.

How does one get their hair to look that shiny?

At this point, the grooming budget is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
Looking like a painting.

If you'd only seen a fraction of this photo, you would think there was a model posing for a magazine cover. (Although there's no reason AJ couldn't be a model.)

Here's Mr. Chan and AJ to conclude the post! What a happy family :)

AJ may be the real star here.
