This Newly Rescued Pupper Shared Her Blanket With An Abandoned Dog On The Street
Lana is one of the sweetest dogs there is, yet she does not come from the best circumstances. She was rescued by her current owner from the streets of Brazil when she was only 8 months old, but she clearly remembers her time living on the streets.
Her owner decided to buy her a thicker blanket for her doghouse, as it became a bit chilly in the evenings. One night, she did something truly special that left her owner in tears when she found her the next morning.
A stray dog was walking toward the house when Lana saw him, and she decided to help in the best way she knew how: by keeping him warm.
Come share my blanket
Instead of barking like any dog would to try and get the stray away from her house, as all dogs are territorial, she dragged her new blanket out to the stray dog to ensure that he too would sleep nice and warm that night.
The next morning, when her owner awakened and went to check on her, she found the two of them sleeping peacefully and warmly on the blanket, and she was moved.
Tearful moment
“I thought, ‘How beautiful what she did for her friend.’ My best four-legged friend reminded me of something so important: generosity!” said Suelen, Lana's owner.
Kind little pupper
Suelen, Lana's owner, could not get over how generous and kind her furry best friend was toward others. It just shows us that a little bit of kindness can go a long way!
"She is the nicest little dog I've ever met," Schaumloeffel says.
"We forget sometimes the difference we can make in someone's life. She reminded me of this."
Since this amazing thing happened, Suelen leaves water and food outside for the stray dog, who is still a bit scared to get close to anybody, as we all know that strays don't lead the best lives.
But Suelen is determined to gain his trust and help him get back home if he is lost, or find him a forever home so that he can be as happy as Lana.
Anyone who is a dog lover truly realizes that we don't deserve doggos.
