The Home Depot is quite popular, and they sell numerous valuable items for your home and nursery. Parents love it, DIY people praise it, and others support it.

But one thing that isn't typically found on the racks at The Home Depot is a live rodent. Yes, you read right – rats, and I mean wild, living rats.

Imagine going to pick up a plant without knowing that you’re also getting an extra occupant who won’t be paying rent. Well, a certain TikToker @alim0ny, posted a clip of him and his wife at Home Depot and it actually went viral.

It happened that the couple had just moved back to California and needed to get a couple of things, so they rushed to Home Depot. While they were there, the man saw something in the plant trees available for sale, and it appeared not to be right.

He initially assumed that it might be a fake, but when that thought failed to convince him, he then realized what he was looking at. It was an undeniably enormous rat that was jumbled in one of the trees.

It’s quite understandable that individuals who frequently go to places that sell lumber do know about seeing mice and other little rodents going around due to the fact that these little vermin like to chomp on the wood. But then, it's not so common to see one of these rodents set up camp on the highest point of a little house plant tree.

However, in the video, you will only see one rat, but the TikToker says that there were different rodents running around.

Here's the first video

This particular rat was the easiest to see since it was at the highest point of the tree, just like the star one would place on a Christmas tree. Rats are exceptionally intelligent creatures, and many people find them to be extremely cute.

The TikToker says his wife actually attempted to get the rat out and help it since it sort of appeared to be a pet rat that somebody had either lost or let get lost. The TikToker, on the other hand, didn't have any desire to move toward the rat just in case it was actually a real street rat, in which case it could be risky to get in contact with it.

Numerous rat experts flooded the comments, pointing out that the rat appears to have an upper respiratory infection, and one person even claimed that those particular trees are extremely poisonous to the rats.

In fact, the TikToker agrees that it seems to be a pet rat rather than a street rat, yet the fact remains that he is no professional and he didn't have any desire to take a risk. The two videos came to an end without letting the viewers in on what went down with the rat.

Should we call this a Daisy situation or what? Some people wouldn’t know what to do if they saw a big rat hanging on a tree in a big public place such as the Home Depot.

Well, I guess some would make a report, but then what would you do in that position? Would you act as the husband, the wife, or another person entirely?
