Rescue Puppy Was Born With A Tail Growing Out Of His Forehead And It's The Cutest Thing Ever
Some rescue stories are sweet, and then there are the ones that make people stop scrolling immediately. Narwhal, a tiny puppy with a tail growing out of his forehead, is one of those rare finds.
He was discovered by Mac’s Mission, an animal rescue in Jackson, Missouri, while wandering in the cold with another older dog. Once the rescue shared his photos online, the reaction was instant, and Narwhal quickly became the internet’s newest obsession.
Now everyone wants to know the same thing, and his unusual little feature is only making him more lovable.

Narwhal was born with two tails, but one of them is growing out of his head!
In case you were wondering, narwhals are pretty much real-life unicorns. They're toothed whales with a sort of “tusk” coming out of their heads, just like real unicorns.
Evidently, ever since the first pictures of Narwhal were posted on Mac’s Mission's Facebook page, everyone has been asking the same question: “Does the puppy’s forehead tail wag?”
Unfortunately, his keepers confirmed that the tail is constantly idle, and they have never seen it make any kind of movement.
After further investigation, vets concluded that nothing is actually connected to the tail, which means that it doesn't have an actual use.
That only made the puppy even more of a conversation starter.
Since Narwhal’s unicorn doesn't bother him at all, there is no actual reason for its removal.
We're sure that he will quickly find a new home, considering how the Internet instantly fell in love with him.
Narwhal’s weird birth reminds us of the abandoned dog who lost part of his face, but the shelter fought back.
