Nature never ceases to amaze us; this world is filled with incredible abnormalities, and that's what makes it so diverse and beautiful.

Narwhal, an adorable rescue pupper, belongs in that category. He was found by Mac’s Mission, an animal rescue in Jackson, Missouri, wandering in the cold, accompanied by another older dog. As soon as they found him, they noticed the extra tail on his forehead.

After sharing pictures of the dog on the internet, Mac’s Mission was surprised by the overwhelming amount of love Narwhal received. Everybody instantly fell in love with him, and it's evident that he will easily find a forever home soon.

In case you were wondering, narwhals are pretty much real-life unicorns. They're toothed whales with a sort of “tusk” coming out of their heads, just like real unicorns.

Evidently, ever since the first pictures of Narwhal were posted on Mac’s Mission's Facebook page, everyone has been asking the same question: “Does the puppy’s forehead tail wag?”

Unfortunately, his keepers confirmed that the tail is constantly idle, and they have never seen it make any kind of movement.

After further investigation, vets concluded that nothing is actually connected to the tail, which means that it doesn't have an actual use.

Then Dr. Heuring cracked a joke about this whole situation:

“It appears they assembled the puppy wrong. Always follow the directions, people!”

Since Narwhal’s unicorn doesn't bother him at all, there is no actual reason for its removal.
