On a dark, rainy night, a couple heard strange cries coming from the wet grass and went to check it out. What they found was a tiny kitten, soaked through and stuck outside, with no sign that anyone was coming to help her.

Rachel did not hesitate once she realized how bad the situation was. She and her boyfriend brought the kitten inside, tried to warm her up, and quickly learned that this little rescue was going to take more than a blanket and some milk.

By the end of the night, the couple had already made a huge sacrifice for a cat they had just met, and the story only got more emotional from there. Read on.

Rachel immediately realized that she had to save the poor kitten from the harsh, cold outdoors. As soon as they got the kitten inside, Rachel's boyfriend started warming him up. Moments later, they realized that this kitten needed professional help and that warm milk just wasn't sufficient.

That rescue turned into something much bigger than they expected.

To recover fully, the kitten needed three days in the emergency room at the vet's clinic. After that, he started feeling much better, thanks to all the love and care he received from the hospital staff, even after the doctor's conviction that he wouldn't make it.

It’s the same kind of urgency as the family that saved a freezing kitten from certain death on Thanksgiving Day.

Rachel and her boyfriend sacrificed so much to save this kitten's life, including their entire paycheck and their unconditional love, and they definitely don't regret a penny. They named him Morry, and lately, he's been receiving a lot of attention on social media. Many kindhearted people have offered to contribute to this little guy's medical expenses.
