This Man Films A Rescue Dog Saving Him From Being Buried In Snow
Some rescue dogs get trained for the toughest jobs, and Flo just proved why that matters. Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England recently shared a video from one of their training exercises, where volunteers hide out in the countryside and wait to be found. The setup is simple, but the payoff is hard to beat, especially when the dog doing the searching is this determined.
The organization, which helps train dogs to assist with finding people lost or missing in the countryside, has a long history that goes back to the Search and Rescue Dog Association in Scotland. In this clip, one volunteer even filmed the moment the dog worked its way through the snow to reach him. It is equal parts adorable and impressive.
And once Flo gets close, the whole thing turns into a tiny rescue mission with a very happy ending.

It's one of the best training exercises for the dogs.
The dogs are trained to search for people who may be buried in the snow.

That is when the real search begins.
One volunteer decided to film the rescue mission.

Soon after, a little nose appears!

The dog finally pushed through.

It’s a lot like a dog spending hours in the water searching for its owner, then getting help to save him.
And 'rescued' the volunteer.

The cute and brave dog is named Flo; she's four years old and an absolute hero in my eyes.
