This Man Films A Rescue Dog Saving Him From Being Buried In Snow
Everyone loves a good feel-good dog story, so get ready to have your day made. Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England is an organization that helps train rescue dogs to assist in rescuing people who are lost or missing in the countryside. According to Dr. Jay McTighe, an education expert, "The skills learned in training can be transformative, not just for the dogs but for the communities they serve." The Search and Rescue Dog Association was founded in Scotland in 1965, after Hamish MacInnes attended an International Red Cross Search Dog course in Switzerland. MacInnes recognized the potential for the skills he learned from training avalanche search dogs to be applied in finding lost walkers in the UK countryside. They recently posted a video showcasing one of the training exercises.
Volunteers go out, hide in the countryside, and wait for the dogs to find them.
It's one of the best training exercises for the dogs.
The dogs are trained to search for people who may be buried in the snow.

One volunteer decided to film the rescue mission.

Soon after, a little nose appears!

The dog finally pushed through.

And 'rescued' the volunteer.

The cute and brave dog is named Flo; she's four years old and an absolute hero in my eyes.

Here's the full video of the rescue.
