These Cats Really Don't Seem to Appreciate Their Dinosaur Haircuts, and We Should Consider It a Warning
A viral grooming trend from Thailand gave cats a look nobody asked for, and the results are as dramatic as they sound. The so-called Dinosaur Haircuts turn ordinary pets into tiny stegosaurus lookalikes, complete with a spiky ridge down the back that has made the internet stop and stare.
What started as a novelty has spread far beyond Asia, and not every cat seems thrilled about becoming a walking joke.
And judging by their faces, they have plenty to say about it.
Stoic
This cat has endured quite the hardship and is doing a good job of not displaying its emotions. But don't worry, that lack of complaint will not secure your safety when the lights go out.

Impressive? I'm not exactly purring over here.
This may be a well-done haircut, but that doesn't excuse your ridiculousness, Karen!

Oh, no. NO.
If you can't even get someone skilled at these haircuts to do your cat's fur, that's just rubbing salt in a wound.

Some of these cats are already over it.
Speaking of rubbing salt in a wound...
Some cruel, cruel human also dyed their cat's fur (hopefully with pet-friendly, edible dye) to imitate an ancient dinosaur.

"Do you think this is a joke, Susan?"
"We'll see who is laughing when I puke in your favorite shoes later."

Poofy
At least this stego-cat-asaurus still has a fancy lion's mane.

This one looks deeply unconvinced.
Speaking of “don’t cross me” energy, these cats with murder mittens look ready to start trouble.
"Purr-fect, let me stretch before I claw your eyes out."
Be pre-purred.

Alright, this one is a little clever.
Until you look closely, it's almost hard to tell that those ripples aren't fat rolls.

"Ridiculous."
This cat is channeling his inner Silence of the Lambs before he eats your corpse.

The expressions are doing most of the work here.
I have so many questions.
At least one of them is to wonder if someone put product in this cat's spikes.

Majestic? Meow.
He can't even look at his owner; he's that mad.

From stunning to stunned.
Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful cat. But why is this haircut a thing? WHY?

That look of pure innocence.
Soon to be lost innocence when all the neighbors begin whispering and giggling.

Quite the view.
He's sitting as still as possible in hopes that no one can actually see him.

Interesting.
At least this cat's spikes look like armor.

Cats have never looked less impressed.
