Young Woman Shares The Moment She Found A Terrified Kitten In Her Yard
A tiny rescued kitten named Mango, better known as spicy Mango, has turned a Florida fitness model's TikTok into a full-time cat diary. The story starts with a scared little stray in Lali's yard, and it quickly becomes a mix of flea baths, syringe feedings, and one very dramatic kitten learning to trust.
At first, Mango was all swats and hisses, but Lali kept showing up with patience, food, and a gloved hand. Then came the bigger question, how would this new kitten fit in with the two dogs already in the house?
That answer turned out to be sweeter than anyone expected.

Despite the young woman's fears, Daisy, Lali's tiny white dog, immediately became the kitten's new best buddy. She's a cross between a Poodle and a Maltese. The two are usually spotted cuddling up and blissfully napping together.
“Their love is so pure it hurts,” Lali says.
"I've known her for less than 24H, but..."

Then Missy, a larger, interested dog, met up with them. It took three weeks of careful introductions, but by the fourth week, Missy was licking the kitten enthusiastically.
It also reminds me of the woman who found out why a stray cat only eats from a bag.
Week One -Week Four
"I think we made it"
Lali and Mango would become "besties for life" and a permanent part of the household after that. The spiciness increased as he grew older, as he wanted to play with everything and everyone.
He continued to display evidence of food aggressiveness over time, swatting when he ate. It may be a sign of his childhood trauma of starvation on the streets.
Lali comforted him by petting him as he ate.
“Poor baby still lives with the trauma of feeling abandoned and hungry. Such a good mommy though to love her through it,” someone commented.
“It’s so easy to love him,” replied Lali.

"Happy one year of biting, torturing, and scratching my handsome boy," Lali wrote recently. While Mango will always be spicy, Lali is smitten with him and adores him.
Who knows what this young cat has been through while living on the streets? That may explain his behavior.
However, we can see that he is on a path of recuperation. And we are so happy to see it.
