Puzzle-Loving Dog Brings Different Items To His Mom While She Showers In Failed Attempts To Lure Her Out
Fin has a talent for turning ordinary moments into little puzzles, and his favorite target is the bathroom door. While his mom showers, he keeps showing up with random items, hoping one of them will convince her to come out and inspect his latest offering.
Vee Thayer says the game has become part of daily life, with Fin constantly inventing new ways to get her attention. Sometimes he brings shower-related items, and other times he surprises her with something completely random, which only makes the whole routine more entertaining.

"From what my fiancé says, Fin brings a couple of items to the door while I’m in the shower to see if any of them will get me to open the door," Thayer said. Sometimes, Thayer opens it to find a variety of things; other times, it’ll simply be one thing.
Fin’s favorite thing to do has been to figure things out
When all this initially started, Thayer wasn’t exactly sure what was going on, but now she’s constantly eager to open the door and find what Fin has chosen to bring to her today. Every now and then, his offerings include a swimsuit, shampoo, or anything that’s shower-related.
At different times, they’re totally unexpected things.

Thayer added that some of her favorite things that Fin has brought to her have been "duct tape, tongs, shampoo, socks, his bed, a bowl of his food, hangers, and a pack of Post-its."

When I open the door, I always say thank you and check out each item. His face is the cutest when the door opens, it’s a mixture of pride and concern, like, ‘Oh jeez, I hope I brought the right thing!'
Fin has created a similar riddle to tackle, which includes his father, but with somewhat of a unique twist.

Thayer said that when Fin detects that it's time for his father to return home from work, he’ll sit in a particular spot in the corner of the carpet in the living room and wait patiently. "The longer the wait, the more toys and items he’ll grab. It’s like he’s trying to find ‘the thing’ that will make his dad walk through the door," she added.

Despite the fact that he attempts to tackle these riddles consistently, Fin never gets tired of them. He enjoys carrying things to his owners in order to encourage them to stroll through the door and come play with him over and over again.
This attitude brings both him and his pawrents a ton of satisfaction and joy. What’s more, he has no plans to stop at any point in the near future.
