Los Angeles Pet Photographer Takes Stunning Pictures Of Black Cats For Halloween
Halloween is a time of year filled to the brim with scary tales and superstitions, especially when it comes to black cats. The holiday season is when animals need love the most; there are strange people around, scary noises, and odd decorations they've never seen before. For those in shelters, it's finally their time to be adopted! Unfortunately, this is not the case for black cats.
In fact, black cats have the lowest adoption rate of all cats and, therefore, the highest rate of euthanasia, all because of something that isn't their fault.
To help some of these furry felines, an animal advocate and pet photographer from Los Angeles named Casey Elise Christopher took a series of photos to highlight the beauty and personality that black cats possess. The cats featured below are from West Los Angeles Animal Services and Milo’s Sanctuary.
