For some people, having a pet is an afterthought or a commodity, but we're not here to discuss those nefarious sorts.
For you, me, and millions of others around the world, having a pet means having another family member. Some people refer to their dogs and cats as their "fur babies" and consider themselves parents to a certain extent. For those of us who love our pets as if our lives depended on them, there is nothing we won't do to look out for them. We'd go bankrupt to cover their medical bills or move halfway across the state because sometimes it's really hard to find a pet-friendly landlord. We love our fluffy felines and silly dogs.
The question remains: is there a line? One Reddit user shares a story that cat lovers cannot look away from, where the line for her was crossed... not by her kitten, though, no! It was crossed by her boyfriend, who apparently didn't like her cat?! (Pro tip from one cat lover to another: if he doesn't like cats, then he isn't the one!)
