Cat Parent Got More Than They Expected When They Allowed Their Cat to Sniff Their Mouth
One curious cat owner learned the hard way that some pet experiments go better in theory than in real life. What started as a harmless moment of letting a cat sniff around turned into a gross surprise that no one would want to repeat.
The story centers on a cat parent who had just finished lunch and decided to see how far their cat would stick its head into their mouth. Instead of a funny reaction, the moment took an unexpected turn and left the owner regretting the whole idea.
By the end, the comments were just as entertaining as the story itself. Read on.
Here's the story...

A cat parasite? Has anyone heard of this?

Well, I guess this is the parasite.

Agreed. I think the cat already has some sort of control over him for him to allow the cat to do that.

Some people thought that this story was going to take a different direction.

What's worse: a cat sneeze or cat vomit?

Telling OP to sneeze back, but OP isn't doing anything until he cleans out his mouth.

Cat and human sneeze fights. Interesting.

This is the same kind of chaos as the entitled mom who claimed her kid was “playing” while suffocating a cat.
Assert your dominance by throwing up on the cat? I don't know about that.

What a violent image.

Here's an interesting look into the future. Definitely fit for a House episode, though.

Cats do have insane sneezes, I guess.

Interesting.

Here's a version of the cat's perspective.

Another person mentioning the cat vomit, but compared to that, I'd say he is lucky.

A disgusting image, but okay.

Good to know that cats are just weird creatures and OP's cat isn't the only one who likes to stick their head in their mouth.

Okay, this is gross. Another weird cat doing strange things.

OP vomited immediately. We can't blame them.

Well.

Nobody was expecting the sneeze. Many people had an alternate belief about where that story was going to go.

After reading this, I think we've all come to the conclusion that cats are just very weird. I mean, what is the obsession with sticking their heads in people's mouths?
Cat owners, and pet owners in general, have probably had some strange encounters with their animals that might be similar to this one. Would you let your cat do this if they wanted to?
Pet and human relationships can be very strong, and many humans treat their pets like family, so it might not be that strange to let them do something like this.
Dry-mouthed cat “etiquette” turned into a heated “cat mom vs dog dad” double standard fight, right here.
