While it may look like they are wearing wigs, that’s not the case. These ducks grow tufts of feathers on the tops of their heads, which will remind you of that Elvis Presley magic.
The ancestry of this incredibly cool duck breed is mainly unknown. Nevertheless, they descended from Mallard ducks.
The mutation that gave them their awesome hairstyle occurred in Mallards and some of their offspring. Thanks to that, we get to enjoy staring at these beautiful creatures.
