Adorable Dog Driving Around In A Miniature Car Gets Pulled Over By The Police
In some cases, dogs and police have a long-standing and positive reputation; in other cases, not so much.
Two police officers spotted something rather uncommon while passing through Heidelberg West, Australia. It was a little dog out for a joyride in a tiny car.
Imagine your own reaction, law enforcement officer or not, to seeing a dog driving a dog-sized car. You know that sounds adorable.
“We couldn’t believe our eyes,” Officer Lynda Giblett said. “Of course, we had to stop and check it out.”
The adorable furry motorist was caught. And what was his crime?
“Caught driving under the influence of cuteness,” the police department stated.
Obviously, the dog wasn’t driving the car. Not far behind him was the dog's owner, who was controlling the vehicle. As it turned out, there was an excellent explanation for why the dog was driving around without a license.

A dog named Buddy is old and both deaf and blind, and unfortunately, he can’t go for long walks as he used to.
His owner got him this car so they could enjoy some fresh air together. Buddy can now do it in style.

Apparently, the officers agreed to let the little dog off with just a warning—possibly, never to stop being so cute.
