This Service Dog Stopped Everyone In Their Tracks As She Gave Birth To Her Puppies In An Airport
Elle was supposed to be just another service dog on a routine airport trip, but her day took a very unexpected turn. When Diane Van Atter was traveling to Philadelphia with her two service dogs, the golden lab suddenly lay down and refused to move, turning a busy airport into the scene of a surprise delivery.
What happened next drew in travelers, airport staff, and emergency responders as Elle went into labor right there at the terminal. By the time the moment was over, the airport had witnessed something few people will ever forget.
And Elle was only getting started.
The mother dog in labor, looking very calm and collected.

And the proud mother with her babies!

Tampa Fire Rescue responded, and Elle gave birth to eight healthy puppies right there in the airport!
People nearby quickly realized they were watching a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
This also echoes the starved dog mom who kept her puppies alive in freezing cold for 5 months.

“They have our names, of course!
“And of course, the last one’s Natalie; it’s a girl!”
Adorable!
