Adorable Dog Stops Using One Of His Legs As A Display Of Solidarity And Sympathy With The Owner On Crutches
Polo is the kind of dog who makes a simple injury look like a shared experience. When his owner, Steph Najar, hurt her left foot and had to move around on crutches, he noticed right away and started limping too.
At first, the family thought something might actually be wrong with him, so Polo was checked by a veterinarian and even had X-rays. Everything came back fine, which made his behavior even more surprising, because he only seems to limp when he is following Najar around the house.
Now the little display has turned into a sweet sign of solidarity, and the video has people talking for all the right reasons.
This is Polo — a super sweet pup with a heart of pure gold, and what he most definitely isn’t is just a fair-weather friend.

"He's demonstrating to me that he feels the same way I do about him," Najar said. Nothing is wrong here; it's just an empathetic dog showcasing the compassionate nature of our furry friends.
Najar managed to capture this in the video clip below. The heartwarming video of Polo limping in support of his owner has received over 27,000 likes and shares on Facebook.
After seeing Najar limping around the house on her crutches, Polo began walking that way too.
Needless to say, the compassionate dog elicited a flood of positive feedback on Facebook. The audience had a lot to say.
"Awwww, no way!" one commenter gushed about Polo's apparent paw-lidarity display, calling it "the cutest thing ever."
"I've watched this clip so many times! Bless him!" exclaimed another. Others, however, felt Najar was unfairly misinterpreting an obviously tired pet.
This reminds us of Himalaya, the Labrador Retriever who approached a boy with down syndrome.
This person thinks Polo deserves all the praise.
Polo, it seems, has decided to forgo the use of his left foot until Najar recovers—an act she's taken as a show of solidarity and sympathy for her current condition.

This is not the first time our canine buddies have exhibited a propensity for sympathy or impersonation. Some breeds have been known to pretend to be injured in order to trick tourists into feeding them.
But our scenario here is simply a heartwarming display of sympathy by Polo. Time and again, our furry friends prove to us they can go to great lengths to demonstrate how much they love us unconditionally-in sickness and in health.
