Abandoned Kitten That Looks Like Ed Sheeran Found In LA After A Heavy Downpour
Badger the ginger kitten showed up in Los Angeles after a heavy downpour, and somehow he looked so much like Ed Sheeran that even strangers couldn’t help staring.
His mom had abandoned him along with his two siblings, and the family who found them after the storm grabbed the soaked, muddy, flea-ridden trio and tried to do the right thing. The siblings got one kind of rescue plan, but Badger ended up in a shelter, then later in the hands of a couple who posted about him online.
That Facebook post is what sent Grace from Happy Kitty Rescue and a whole lot of determination his way.
Badger's uncanny resemblance to ginger-haired singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran made him especially adorable.

The adorable kitten was abandoned by his mother along with his two siblings.

They were discovered by a family after an LA downpour; soaking wet, covered in mud, and full of fleas.

A family took in his two siblings, but Badger was sent to a shelter. Soon after, Badger was taken in by a nice couple.
The couple posted about Badger on Facebook, and that's when Grace from Happy Kitty Rescue saw him. The couple drove for an hour to deliver Badger to the LA-based rescue.

Not long after, Badger met Joey, his "foster uncle."
Grace describes Joey as a stereotypical "single dad" who claims he "doesn't want a cat." He is standoffish at first, but it doesn't take him long to warm up to new foster kittens.

Just a few weeks later, Badger became the rescue's first-ever adoption!

"Badger went home with the most amazing and loving family. As you can see, he’s already settled in and is having such a blast with his new toys!"

The sweet ginger kitten has settled in nicely at his forever home with his new humans and furry siblings.

The LA downpour didn’t just soak Badger, it also set off the chain reaction that split him from his two siblings.
Badger’s story is different, but it echoes Jerry, the cat abandoned for being “too affectionate,” read what happened next.
After the couple took in Badger, Grace from Happy Kitty Rescue saw his post and drove an hour just to pick him up.
Then came Joey, the “single dad” foster uncle who swore he “doesn’t want a cat,” until Badger clearly had other plans.
A few weeks later, Badger went from standoffish foster energy to the rescue’s first-ever adoption, right on the heels of meeting Joey.
So, what do you think? Does Badger still look like Ed Sheeran?
We can definitely still see the resemblance, but maybe not as much as before. Do you have a celebrity-lookalike pet?
We would love to hear about it if you do! You can share your stories with us in the comment section.
Now Badger is living his best life, and the Ed Sheeran look is basically just the cherry on top.
Before Badger, another ex-feral tomcat proved he was the sweetest “Mama Bear” after fostering kittens, see how he changed.
