Man Travels 4,000 Miles To Meet Woman Of His Dreams Who He Met On Cat Facebook Page
A Facebook cat page turned into a long-distance love story when one post led Adam Lawrence to the woman he would eventually fly 4,000 miles to meet. What started as a cute photo with a friend’s fluffy cat quickly drew attention, including a Hosey, who thought both the man and the cat were adorable.
Adam and Anna began talking every day, then moved on to FaceTime, and before long he decided to book a trip from the UK to the US to meet her in person. It was a big leap for two people who had only known each other online, but the connection seemed to click right away.
Now Anna is already planning a trip to visit Adam in the UK, and the whole thing has the feel of a rom-com with a very specific cat-themed beginning. Read on.
"I never thought I'd be the kind of guy to travel 4,000 miles to meet someone I met on Facebook, but I don't regret it at all," Adam said.

"It was the first time I ever posted in the group, but I have always loved cats, and when I saw my friend's fluffy cat, I couldn't resist," he went on. "Anna commented, saying, 'Both very, very cute,' and after viewing her profile, I thought, 'I'll just send her a message.'"

"We went on to speak every day on Facebook, and we really got on. After two weeks, she suggested I visit her in the States."
"I don't think she believed I would, so I thought, 'What have I got to lose?' I thought, 'If it goes wrong, at least I am ticking another country off the list.' Thankfully, I had the best time, and it was like we had known each other forever. I can't wait to show Anna all the sights that make London, London."
That first trip turned a Facebook flirtation into something much more real.
Anna weighed in, "I was a little bit wary, but I was willing to take the small risk, and I am so glad I did because we had the best time. The whole thing has been surreal but amazing—it wasn't awkward at all when I picked him up from the airport."

"I felt nervous on the way, but as soon as he got in the car, those feelings disappeared; it is crazy how we are so in tune with each other. We both love cats, music, and adventure," Anna said.

By the time he met her friends, parents, and cat, the whole visit had clearly gone better than either of them expected.
It also echoes the “rescue” showdown when a city woman tried to take over a barn cat from her boyfriend.
"He met my friends, parents, and most importantly, my cat, Kidden, and they all loved him. My friends were shocked that I found someone who is as talkative and spontaneous as I am."

All the very best of luck, guys!
