Some Instagram accounts are built around trends, but this one is all about cats, portraits, and the women who love them. Brooklyn fashion photographer BriAnne Wills has spent the past two years photographing girls with their adopted cats, turning a simple idea into a striking visual project.

What started as a way to push back on the old “crazy cat lady” label has grown into a collection of more than 180 women, each paired with a cat and a story. Wills shares the photos on Instagram and on her website, where the images do most of the talking.

The result is part style project, part cat celebration, and completely hard to scroll past. Check them out below!

This also fits the vibe of adoptable cats posed in their ideal, cozy abodes.
