Selfless Homeless Man Sells Limes To Feed Stray Cats Before Himself and Gets a Make-Over
Loong Dum has been living a hard life at a train station in Thailand, but his daily routine has made him stand out for all the right reasons. While most people were focused on getting by, he was focused on the stray cats that depended on him.
Every day, Loong sold limes on the street so he could buy food for the cats he cared for. That often left him with nothing for himself, and he would go hungry just to make sure they ate first.
His story only grew bigger after people saw how far he was willing to go for them, and what happened next changed his life in a big way.
Loong's story went viral after a woman named Warunya Wattanasupachoke saw him selling limes with a sign saying "20 baht per bag, profits will pay for stray cats' food expenses."

Many people were touched by the story.

As Loong's story made the rounds on social media, many people offered to help him by bringing him cat food and supplies.

People quickly started showing up with cat food and supplies.
Some even took him to get a haircut and new clothes.

But even so, Loong insisted on returning to the streets to continue selling limes because life without his beloved cats would be meaningless.

Even with the attention, he still wanted to keep working.
This kind of rescue momentum echoes a stray cat’s journey from the roadside, where it faced death's door.
“We shouldn’t judge someone based on their appearance,” Warunya said.

“Take Loong Dum, for example. Though he is homeless and rugged-looking, he has a big heart.”

That message clearly struck a chord with a lot of people.
Loong's story has proved to be a source of inspiration to many, showing compassion and love to those in need.

We could all learn something from Loong's kind heart!

His kindness is what people remember most.
