Woman's Act Of Kindness Toward Her Freezing Dog Goes Viral On Facebook
Winter can be brutal at times, and we aren't the only ones who feel the cold. Our pets can struggle with the icy weather as well, so it's important to look out for them during the colder months.
Luckily for our furry friends, there are still some lovely people in the world who will go above and beyond to protect them. Kristina Hollie shared a story (and some adorable photos) about one such person on Facebook.
Kristina was waiting for a bus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, one freezing day with a colleague when she noticed a lady walking past with her dog. The lady needed to go into the post office, so she tied the dog to a tree outside.
The poor dog was trembling from the cold, so his loving human took off her own jacket and wrapped it around the freezing pooch. The woman even zipped up the jacket, so her furry friend would stay nice and cozy.
Kristina couldn't help but commend the woman for taking such good care of her pet. "Thank you! I don’t want him to be cold," she replied.
Later, Kristina shared the sweet photos in the Dogspotting Facebook group, and it didn't take long for her post to become popular. She said that even as she boarded her bus, she could see the dog patiently waiting for his human, all tucked up contently in the jacket.
"I witnessed two or three other passers-by stop and remark on how adorable and snug he looked," Kristina said. It's nice to know there are still some good people in the world!
