Dog With A Custom-Made Lego Wheelchair Is The Best Thing Ever
Gracie’s story starts with a rough beginning, but it quickly turns into something much sweeter. The one-year-old puppy was left outside a veterinary clinic as a baby, and when she was found, she was in terrible shape, covered in maggots, missing patches of fur, and born with only her back legs.
An animal rescue stepped in and gave Gracie a chance at a safer life, but her needs were still unusual. That is where a 12-year-old volunteer named Dylan came in with a custom Lego wheelchair that helped Gracie keep moving as she grew.
And the best part is that the tiny fix kept evolving right along with her.
Dylan built Gracie a Lego wheelchair that could grow and adapt to her size and needs. If that isn't the most creative idea I've heard in a while, I don't know what is.
It also reminds me of the blind dog who gets excited just by sensing her favorite person.
A total of three Lego wheelchairs were made for Gracie as she rapidly grew.
Now that Gracie is fully grown, she has been able to get a properly fitted wheelchair. Kudos to Dylan for having such a creative idea, and I wish the best for Gracie and her family. <3
