Stray Dog Becomes An Unexpected Guest At A Wedding And Gets Adopted By The Bride And Groom
Nobody likes a party crasher, especially at something as special as a wedding.
Weddings are supposed to center around the union of two people; it’s only natural that the spotlight would be on the bride and groom.
Sure, there’d probably be a bit of drama here and there, but is it really a wedding without it? Usually, when there’s a wedding crasher, they are escorted out, and that solves the problem.
In this case, the ‘intruder’ at the wedding of Brazilian couple Tamiris Muzini and Douglas Vieira Robert was a stray dog that followed the proceedings. Although the dog followed the groomsmen and bride at the entrance, he was very content to watch the wedding from outside.
The wedding organizer and others tried to move the dog from where he was, but once they realized it wasn’t going to happen, they let him be. He even took a little nap while the wedding was taking a while.
The couple wanted to adopt him immediately, but the wedding organizer still had to run the event, so they had to wait a bit. They made sure to find out if anyone was looking for the dog, and sure enough, people replied online that the dog was an orphan.
In the end, they found a way to adopt him and renamed him Braiá Caramelo de Jesus. What was once a wedding crasher turned out to be a wonderful gift for the couple.

And although guests were there to celebrate the couple, they loved having the stray dog around
Huandra was also a volunteer for an NGO dedicated to the protection of animals and noticed that the dog was somehow injured, which explained why he was having trouble moving around
But when the couple came out, he stood up on his two paws and greeted them
The bride wanted to adopt him immediately, but since they weren’t sure where he came from, they couldn’t do it right away
A few days after the wedding, the couple was still insistent about the dog, and fortunately, they found him near a coffee shop
They took him to the vet since they managed to find out that the dog didn’t have an owner.
Once they finally adopted him, he stayed at the bride’s mother’s house while the couple went on their honeymoon

He receives lots of pets and attention
Plus, he now has a forever home
The dog might have been used to loitering on the streets, with some people recognizing him daily. But that day, he found contentment in watching the wedding and sticking close to the couple despite his injuries.
The couple also felt that the dog belonged with them. In the end, it was a win-win situation, as the dog felt like one of the best wedding gifts they could’ve received.
