Man Transforms His House Into The Ultimate Cat Playground
Some cat lovers go out and buy a scratching post, but Peter Cohen turned his entire house into a feline playground.
Back in 1988, the Californian bought a home that came with two feral cats, and after one was lost in a car accident, he kept the other safe and later adopted more cats from a local shelter. What started as a small rescue effort slowly became a full-blown indoor wonderland, complete with walkways, tunnels, and colorful cat-friendly designs in every room.
By the time the house reached cat paradise status, Peter had spent years building it up, and the result is hard to miss.

In 1995, Peter built the first of many catwalks for his house. This marked the beginning of the creation of the now bright and colorful indoor cat playground they have in their home. The walkways are placed throughout every room of the house and are made in various shapes and designs, such as spirals, tunnels, and even one shaped like a shark's head, whose teeth scratch the cats as they walk through it. He claims he has spent over $50,000 on the best walkways for his cats, so not only must Peter enjoy the appearance of the walkways, but surely this is a dream home for every cat!
It’s kind of like the man who strapped a camera to his cat to film his adventures.

From then on, Peter started adopting cats from different shelters every year, and before they knew it, there were 15 cats calling the indoor playground home!
