Adorable Cat Was So Fascinated By Construction Workers Outside Her Building That Her Mom Just Had To Share The Reaction With Everyone
Cleo the cat has a talent for making friends in the most unlikely place, and her latest fan club formed 15 stories up. From her apartment window, the fluffy white kitty became fascinated by the construction crew working outside, and they were just as taken with her.
Her mom, Caelin Smith, started noticing the daily routine after working from home and hearing Cleo meowing at the blinds. Soon, the workers were stopping to play with her through the glass, turning an ordinary building project into a tiny neighborhood romance.
Now Cleo has admirers across the whole crew, and her mom cannot help but keep the blinds open for the show. Read on.
This is Cleo. She lives with her mom in a studio apartment on the 15th floor

“I first noticed Cleo’s fondness for the workers about four months ago, once I started working from home,” Cleo’s mom says

You can watch Cleo interact with her friends here:
Construction employees aren't the only ones affected. All handymen are equally welcomed by the sweet 1-and-a-half-year-old cat.
“I’ve noticed a fondness for electricians, plumbers, and cable guys,” Smith said. “We live in a 500-square-foot studio apartment, so this is definitely the most exciting interaction this city kitty has ever experienced.”
This is similar to how one Redditor refused to get rid of their cat despite a roommate’s severe allergies.

Though the workers have not had the opportunity to pet Cleo, they all look forward to seeing her every day. “Cleo is the epitome of a COVID kitty,” Smith said.
“She loves to be in the presence of others and absolutely hates to be alone. She yells at me every time I leave the apartment for more than two hours.”
“She has a very gentle, sweet demeanor and a calming aura,” she concluded. “She’s brought so much happiness into my life.”

Many people got pets during the pandemic to help them cope with isolation. They’ve provided us with that much-needed companionship and contact.
However, with people slowly returning to offices, they are spending more and more time alone in their homes. This may lead to our pets feeling anxious or depressed.
If you are going to leave your pet alone for several hours each day, make sure they have enough water and food (an automatic dispenser would be a good solution). Also, try to keep them active by providing different engaging toys.
Wait until you see how the woman shut down a child’s cat-petting request, refusing the boundary.
