Cat Lover Documents The Funny Little Things He Tries To Do With His Feline Friend
Abdul Williams never expected a foster kitten to change the way he saw cats, but that is exactly what happened when Bambi came into his life. What started as a first-time experience with a tiny kitten turned into a full-on cat-loving journey, complete with fostering, adoption, and plenty of funny moments along the way.
Now Abdul and his wife, Shamiyan, share their life with cats through their Instagram page, Abdul’s Cats. Their posts show the awkward, sweet, and playful side of living with foster kittens, from baby-holding poses to the little nicknames that come with real affection.
Bambi may have been the first, but she definitely was not the last cat to leave a mark.
This is Abdul Williams and his sweet adopted cat, Bambi

Bambi, who was formerly his first foster cat, was eventually adopted by him, and his videos show how times have changed.
At first, he was hesitant about how he would take care of her. Not only did he not know if he would love having a cat, but he also had no experience in taking care of one.

Here he shows the difference in the way he held her then and the way he holds her now.
He discovered activities he could do with Bambi and the foster kittens until he naturally began to engage in stereotypical actions a cat person would do.

Like holding them like a baby or even introducing them to their reflections.
That is where the cat-person behavior really starts to show.
His adventures with his cats didn't end with one reel; he shared more things that cat people would do.

For people with cats, you've got to admit, it's fun to lift them up a la Lion King style.
Some nicknames are clearly said with love.
It’s a lot like the man who gave his girlfriend a cat, adopted another, then moved out because he couldn’t tolerate their “unruly behavior.”
Bambi didn't escape being called different names... on purpose.

They've called her Bambers and, lovingly, Bamb Chops.

There's more where that came from.
Abdul started from worrying about how to hold a cat properly to speaking in cat.
It's not as hard when Bambi apparently becomes more vocal when she's the only cat, in between having other cats in their home to foster.
Abdul progressed to caring for more foster kittens and cats as time went on. Of course, now he has more experience in how to care for them and earn their trust.
Bambi also plays a big role in keeping the cats in check, acting sort of like a foster mom and teaching them what she can. Abdul's journey shows how a simple unexpected encounter can change your whole perspective.
He went from cat uncertainty to full-on cat dad energy.
After years of adopting, the Redditor still grappled with check-in messages from Bambi’s former foster carer, and considered blocking her.
