31 Stunning Photos Of Real "Fairy Forest Animals" Have Been Shared By The Photographer
These forest photos look almost too magical to be real. In Finland’s quiet woodlands, photographer Ossi Saarinen has built a following by capturing foxes, deer, owls, squirrels, and even bears in moments that feel straight out of a fairy tale.
He spends long hours waiting in pristine nature, moving carefully so the animals can grow comfortable around him. That patience shows in the results, from sleepy fox cubs to snow-dusted owls and curious deer that seem to pose on their own.
The best part is how close these scenes feel, as if the forest itself is leaning in for a closer look. Read on.

The photographer also revealed that he spent many hours with the animals, allowing them to learn to trust him. "I start carefully from a distance and then, day by day, I try to get closer. I learned to understand how the animals behave and react to my presence," he added.

He made sure to avoid sudden movements or loud noises, and as time passed, the animals began to trust him more, allowing him to come closer. Foxes, especially young cubs, are the photographer’s favorite animals to capture, as he finds their lives and behaviors very intriguing.

If you are interested in wildlife photography and don’t have a camera, Saarinen advises starting with a phone. Additionally, you need to "spend a lot of time in nature and with the animals, because the more you know about your subject, the closer you can get, and the more interesting your photos can be."
