Teachers Hear Meowing Coming From The Ceiling And Staff Has To Pull Apart Everything To Rescue Trapped Kittens
A high school in Northern California turned into an unexpected rescue scene when staff heard tiny meows coming from the ceiling. What started as a strange noise quickly became a race to find out where the kittens were hiding and how to get them out safely.
The counseling team and maintenance staff worked together as they tracked the sounds, opened up parts of the ceiling, and tried to reach the trapped litter. One kitten was first spotted near the air conditioning unit, but the rest were still out of reach, which made the rescue more complicated than anyone expected.
By the end, the school had a very different kind of campus story to tell, and the kittens were finally on the way to safety.
These kittens were rescued from a ceiling of a high school in Northern California

A maintenance technician was able to save three kittens on Thursday, but the counseling staff continued to hear meows coming from the vents. The maintenance worker climbed onto a desk, opened the ceiling, and began searching for answers.
He successfully rescued two little kittens from the ceiling, and thankfully, they were both fine.

The rescue took a turn once the team got a closer look inside the ceiling.
It’s the same kind of panic as Jennifer discovering faint kitten whimpers from a sealed dumpster.
The counseling staff and a student office aide were in disbelief as our awesome campus maintenance man, Jake, was able to locate them and cut them out of the ceiling,” Jones said. “The kittens seemed hungry and were crying out as they were rescued.
“On a Tuesday, we heard sounds coming from the vents, and we were able to see some kittens on the roof by the air conditioning unit,” Jeremiah Jones, one of the school counselors, says

“The counseling staff and a student office aide were in disbelief as our awesome campus maintenance man, Jake, was able to locate them and cut them out of the ceiling,” he added.

After ensuring that all of the kittens were healthy, they were placed with local families. They're safe and sound today, thanks to the counseling staff's perseverance - and they'll know what to do if they ever hear meows coming from the ceiling again.
So, if you ever encounter similar sounds, that's what it is: just a bunch of adorable kittens.
Help them and call a pet rescue service. One important thing to remember is that if the mama cat thinks her cover is blown, she might relocate the kittens.
What started as a mystery in the vents ended with a very relieved staff and a few lucky kittens.
