Socotra Island looks like a postcard, until you realize its animals are basically acting like they live in a science experiment that never ended. 13. Socotra Giant Centipede
Scolopendra valida is a large centipede found in the archipelago. It hunts insects and other small animals using venom-modified front limbs.
